Recipe Danube With Basil

Ingredients:

450 grams of flour 0.250 ml of milk, 50 grams of butter, 30 grams of sugar, 10 grams of yeast, 10 grams of salt, 1 clove of garlic, eggs, 100 grams of mozzarella, olive oil

Doses for: 4 persone realization time: 3 hours and 0 minutes

Recipe:

We start by chopping the fresh basil after washing it well. In a bowl put the yeast, the sugar and mix well until both ingredients are dissolved. After the milk is added at room temperature and 1 whole egg and we mix everything well. Then we take another bowl and put the flour, salt and chopped basil, a clove of garlic and mix. We combine the liquid mixture created a little earlier and turn with a ladle. Then we add the softened butter and start to knead with your hands until all the ingredients are well mixed. We oil a bowl of oil and lay the dough, covering it with plastic wrap or a cloth and letting it rise for at least 1 hour and a half. Subsequently we place the dough doubled on the work surface dusted with flour and divide it into 4 parts to then divide each part again into 3. We will thus obtain 12 segments. We take each piece and turn it between our hands and then crush it by enlarging it a little. Put a small piece of mozzarella in the center and close it creating a bundle. Once this procedure is done with all the other pieces, we place the sandwiches on a baking sheet with parchment paper, cover and let it rise again for 40/60 minutes. We bake after 180 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Once cooked, we extract and brush with olive oil while it is still hot. Our very soft danube with basil is ready to be tasted!
