The Level 1 cooking course is designed for those new to the culinary world and those who are already proficient in the kitchen but want to refine their techniques. The entire course consists of 8 lessons, each designed to prepare each student for the subsequent stages. We'll first learn how to recognize the right ingredients, the different cuts of vegetables, how to make sauces, stocks, and fresh and dried pasta. We'll then move on to fish filleting, the preparation of white and red meats, the different cooking methods, the ideal temperatures to use based on recipes, and finally, pastry-making skills. For each technique learned, we'll create recipes that can be used and reused using different products, always keeping in mind the key principles of the Mediterranean diet. Under the expert guidance of our chef Vincenzo Noviello, we'll be the real stars! The course alternates theoretical and practical lessons, during which we'll create delicious culinary creations by getting our hands dirty. Each student will be given an apron to wear during the class, and the following day, the complete recipes will be emailed to you, including all the ingredients used and instructions for making them at home whenever you like.
