The Istituto Il David is a school specialized in teaching the Italian language and culture to foreign learners. The school owes its name to Michelangelo's famous sculpture and was set-up in 1983.It is officially authorized by the Italian Ministry of Education and it is open all year round. It is located in the historical center of Florence, 5 minutes walk from the central railway station and from the most important monuments like the Cathedral, Piazza Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. The school is provided with wireless connection which the students can use for free. All the rooms are provided with air conditioning.
