The history of Florence course covers and analyzes the different historical phases of Florence, from its founding, during the Roman era up until today. The teacher will take you on visits to historic sites (such as the houses of Dante, Ghiberti and Brunelleschi; Michelangelo’s studio; places where the artists gathered; etc. ) that were witness to Florence’s unique and fascinating history, spanning over 2000 years.
