What could be better than nurturing your children's passions? Before the busy schedule of school and sports kicks in again, we are relaunching our cooking courses for kids. We’ve designed a program specifically to offer your children or grandchildren moments of pure fun that blend learning with creativity. These four lessons are dedicated to young cooking enthusiasts; four sessions where the little chefs take center stage alongside our Chef Luigi. Each class will be a mini-journey into a world usually reserved for adults: selecting, handling, kneading, getting a little messy, and tasting. It will feel like a game, yet it is the perfect way to learn new things and hone manual, sensory, and social skills. From the very start, the young chefs will be given responsibility for their role in the kitchen. They will discuss preparation techniques, ingredient selection, and the properties of the components used in their delicious new recipes. In our kitchen workshop, they will learn theoretical concepts—such as basic hygiene, the fundamentals of recycling, and the principles of healthy eating—fostering a greater awareness and a willingness to help out with the family’s daily routine at home. Above all, however, our workshop is hands-on. Each young chef will have their own workstation, ingredients, utensils, and equipment to create tasty, creative recipes under our chef's guidance. These budding chefs will be encouraged to express their full inventiveness and imagination, crafting delicious food with their own hands to enjoy together at the end. It is a fun way to learn the tricks of the trade from professional chefs, handle ingredients skillfully, and experiment with new flavor combinations. This September, we will once again embark on an ideal "culinary journey, " with each lesson dedicated to the traditional recipes of a specific region or country. Your children will learn a variety of recipes that they can then share with you at home. Each lesson covers basic cooking techniques—mixing, adding ingredients, cooking, plating, and garnishing—making the process so much fun that, for these budding young chefs, it will feel just like a game!
